As we bid Joseph farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Joseph is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his wife Patricia (Martini); his child Shaun Halloran; and his brother Bobby Macarelli. He is survived by: his children, Justin Halloran, Michael Macarelli and Crystal Collins; and his siblings, Louise Macarelli and Ricky Macarelli.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Cota Funeral Homes (335 Park St, North Reading, MA 01864). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Cota Funeral Home (335 Park St, North Reading, MA 01864).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Joe's name to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1905.
