He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Marnell and Mary Marnell (Sellers); his wife Claire Marnell (Flaherty); his stepchild Thomas J. Ferguson; and his siblings, Richard Marnell, Kathleen Day and Beverley Fortin.
He is survived by: his stepchildren, Marybeth F. Hickey (Paul) of Marston Mills, Michael F. Ferguson of Tempe, Caroline J. Ferguson (Arthur Dwyer) of Nantucket and Robert F. Ferguson of Moultonborough; his grandchildren, Shane T. Ferguson and Jennifer Rounds of Phoenix, Arizona; and his brother-in-law Richard Fortin. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
