Kathryn Bowers Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kathryn Bowers (Walpole, Massachusetts), who passed away on January 28, 2020, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Kenneth John Bowers; her parents, Francis J. Kolenda and Katherine E. Kolenda; her mother-in-law Catherine Bowers; her sister Betty Capozzoli; her brother-in-law Alan Weeden; and her friends, Donna Lang and Judith Fuller.
She is survived by: her daughters, Melissa Bowers Del Arroyo, Lorraine Costello and Gretchen Bowers Munafo; her son-in-law Steven Munafo; her siblings, Lorraine Weeden and Francis Kolenda; her grandchildren, Samantha Finkelstein (Adam) and Kenneth Costello; and her great grandchild Jodi May.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Stony Brook Wildlife Sanctuary in Norfolk, MA; Best Friends Animal Society in Utah; or the Town of Duxbury Animal Shelter (checks payable to shelter should be sent to Susan Curtis, PO Box 1071, Duxbury, MA 02331-1071).
