He is survived by: his parent Margaret Friel (Ewell); his pet Park; his son Jason Friel; his spouse Robin (Bestwick); his children, Lauren Cummings (Steven) of Norfolk and Amy Matthew (John Rosenthal) of Norfolk; his siblings, Marsha McDonough of Falmouth, Margaret Sittig (William) of West Roxbury, Kevin (Patricia) of Falmouth and John (Susan) of West Roxbury; and his sibling-in-law Mary of France. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
