He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Shirley (Everson); his son Nicholas G. Cotto, Jr. (Linda) of Dedham; his grandfather Nicholas A. Cotto; and his siblings, Nancy Jones (Steve), Edward "Jack" Cotto of Boston, Andrew Cotto of Boston, Charlotte Cotto of Roslindale, Kenneth Cotto (Deborah) of Medford and Joan Cotto-Spinelli (late Mario) of Gloucester. He was also cherished by nieces and nephews.
