He was predeceased by: his parents, Dimitrios Toumbouras and Eleni Toumbouras (Triantfilakos); and his spouse Stavroula Toumbouras (Mermigas). He is survived by: his children, Dimitrios Toumbouras (Kostandina) and Eleni Bakolas (Apostolos); and his sister Maria Stavropoulos. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers donations in his memory to St. Nectarios Greek Orthodox Church.
