William Scanlan Obituary

We are sad to announce that on June 6, 2021 we had to say goodbye to William Scanlan of Walpole, Massachusetts, born in Boston, Massachusetts. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, William F. Scanlan Sr. and Frances Scanlan (Willgoose); and his siblings, Kenneth Kynett and Alma Lehane (Kynett). He is survived by: his sister-in-law Nancy J. Myers; his children, William Scanlan III (Linda), Cheryl McDonough (late James J. McDonough), Kathleen M. Scanlan and Thomas Scanlan Sr. (Teri); his nieces, Stacey Myers and Danielle Beal (Dave); his grandchildren, Heather Adamski (Marc), Kyle McDonough, Thomas Scanlan Jr. (Kelsey), Sarah Anderson (Trevor), Kevin McDonough (Billi Solis-O'Brien), Patricia Smith (Shawn), Andrew Scanlan (Jessica), Kathleen, Daniel, William Scanlan, Julia and Jillian Beal; and his great grandchildren, Lily, Charlotte Rose, Emma, Hayden, Lucy, Brinley, Isabel, Vera, Everett and Charlotte Abigail.

During the pandemic, he made it a point to send lots of cartoons and notes via snail mail to his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, so he could stay in touch with them.
