He was predeceased by: his sibling Fotis Koutovas. He is survived by: his wife Peggy Koutovas (Margios); his brother Paul Koutovas (Maria); and his siblings-in-law, Vasili Margios, Simeon Margios (Filia), Eleni Koutovas, Chrysoula Sirafos and Cathy Papaporfiriou (Efstratios Also).
In lieu of flowers donations in his memory may be made to the Taxiarchae Greek Orthodox Church.
