He was predeceased by: his father Joseph L. Kelly, III. He is survived by: his mother Patricia R. Kelly (Doucette); his friend Jim Reardon; his sister Maureen L. Doherty (Kevin C.) of Brighton; his sibling's children, Edward L. Doherty, Caitlyn L. Doherty and Joseph L. Doherty; his godmother Janice Taleas; and his pets, Sandy and Molly. He is also survived by many cousins, dear friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 12th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the MacDonald Rockwell MacDonald Funeral Home (270 Main St, Watertown, MA 02472). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 13th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the MacDonald Rockwell & MacDonald Funeral Home (270 Main St, Watertown, MA 02472). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, November 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Church of Saint Patrick (212 Main St, Watertown, MA 02472). During the pandemic, Kevin embraced a new challenge joining Eastern Industrial Automation in Waltham as warehouse manager and expanding into sales.
