With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Hilbert Van Nydeck Schenck II (Wellesley, Massachusetts), who passed away on June 28, 2018 at the age of 59. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his spouse Michon Schenck (Mahony); his son Hilbert "Hib" Van Nydeck; his mother Sudie Schenck; his husband Steven Goodwin; his brothers, Christopher Schenck (Eroica Schenck) and Garret "Trip" Schenck; and also, Forest and Rowena.

In lieu of flowers, friends and family are encouraged to support Hib's Pan Mass ride this year on team Van-Guard, created to honor his late father's fight. 100% of all donations will go to support the Dana Farber Cancer Institute, where both Hib and Van were treated.
