We are sad to announce that on April 28, 2020 we had to say goodbye to Rita Margaret (Kelly) Murphy (Wellesley, Massachusetts), born in Brookline, Massachusetts. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Delia Kelly and Matthias Kelly; her sibling Kay Hurley; and her children, Janice Sweeney (Mike), Dennis and Brian Murphy.
She is survived by: her siblings, Anne Manning and Matthew Kelly (Sonny); her daughters, Maureen Murphy (late Glenn Linko), Joyce Murphy (Bill Melanson), Rita Williams (John) and Annemarie Flaherty (Joe); and her grandchildren, Julia, Joseph and Nicole Sweeney. She is also survived by sisters, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Sadly, Rita was diagnosed with COVID-19 just 8 days prior to her death.
In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Rita may be made to the Elizabeth Seton Residence, 125 Oakland St., Wellesley, MA. 02481 (this is to honor the front line staff at the ESR who took care of Rita during this difficult time).
