He was predeceased by: his parents, John McDonald and Catherine McDonald (Sutton); and his sibling Private Paul McDonald. He is survived by: his sister Claire McDonald; his wife Helen McDonald (Marceau); his daughters, Deborah McDonald of Newton, MA and Karen Klaff (Lawrence) of Westwood, MA; and his grandchildren, Lauren, Christopher, Andrew and Matthew.
