She was loved and cherished by many people including : her husband Col. Frederick J. Gillis; her children, Barbara Lee Taylor (John), Cheryl Lane (Robert) of Middleboro, Jean Rogers (Richard), Michele Cemate and Frederick J. Gillis, III (Shelly) of West Roxbury; and her sisters, Alice Melanson and Dorothy Keane. She was also cherished by 15 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
