He is survived by : his parents, Arthur McCarthy and Dorothy "Dottie" McCarthy (Mahoney); his sister Karen "Cookie" Ruuska; his nieces and nephews, Bridgette and Brian Ruuska; and his significant other Rachel Brewer.
