Kenneth F. Cooney Obituary
We are sad to announce that on June 6, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Kenneth F. Cooney of West Roxbury, Massachusetts. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Patricia M. Cooney (Sullivan); his parents, Dennis Cooney and Catherine Cooney (Shea); his siblings, Robert, Mary, Donald and John; and his siblings-in-law, Mary Sullivan, John, Philomena Sullivan, Lawrence, Bertha Sullivan, Eugene Sullivan, Anna, Richard Talanian and Francis Sullivan.
He is survived by: his daughters, Kathryn Cooney of Newton, Susan Cooney (Paul Durr) and Diane (John Reilly); and his sister-in-law Donna Sullivan of Easthampton. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the William J. Gormley Funeral Home (2055 Centre St, West Roxbury, MA 02132). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Theresa of Avila Chapel (2078 Centre St, West Roxbury, MA 02132).
In lieu of flowers, in honor of Kenneth's lifelong love of animals, contributions may be made in his memory to Protectors of Animals, 144 Main St., East Hartford, CT. 06118.
