It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Amsden of West Springfield, Massachusetts, who passed away on November 24, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Bertha DeVoie (Grady) and Robert DeVoie Sr.; her siblings, Robert DeVoie Jr. and Elizabeth DeVoie; and her friend Officer Michael Vezzola.
She is survived by: her significant other Robert Amsden (Chick); her children, Sandra Sayward (Jack) of Becket, MA, Robert Amsden Jr. (Lori) of West Springfield and Michael Amsden (Christie) of West Springfield; her adoptive son Richard Whitebear of Garrison; her children, Jagger, Malyn, Jase and Jennifer Eggleston (Roy); her grandchildren, Rebecca, Chase and Meadow; her daughter Christine Amsden; her grandson Gabriel; her children, Trina Amsden (Matt), Hannah, Paige and Maxwell Amsden; and her siblings, Patricia Lover and Alan DeVoie (Lynn).
