He was predeceased by: his parents, George Vardakis and Katherine Vardakis; and his brother Anthony Vardakis. He is survived by: his siblings, Mary Goodreau (Alan) and Ulysses Vardakis; his nephews, Andrew and George Vardakis; his niece Kim Dion; and his great-nephew Tyler Dion.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the charity of one's choice.
