He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore G. and Gertrude T.. He is survived by: his wife Cynthia A. Savaria (Baribault); his sons, David G. Savaria (Emily) of Medway and Joseph B. Savaria (Kristen) of Longmeadow; his grandchildren, Lillian K. Savaria, Benjamin J. Savaria, Nora K. Savaria, Andrew J. Savaria and Lauren E. Savaria; and his sister Jacqueline Watson of Ocala, FL. He is also survived by cousins, numerous friends and extended family.
His Committal Service with United States Navy Military Honors will be private at the Massachusetts Veterans' Memorial Cemetery in Agawam. His family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, February 10, 2021 for a WALK-THRU Visitation on Wednesday, February 10, 2021 from 5 p. m. to 7 p. m. Please note that masks are required, social distancing must be observed and funeral home and Church attendance are limited due to state regulations.
His family requests that memorial donations be made in his memory to Saint Thomas the Apostle Church, 47 Pine Street, West Springfield, MA 01089.
