She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Frank Fila and Apollonia Fila (Bozek); her former husband Walter Rickus; her husband Francis Lavoie; her children, Walter Rickus (Ricky) and Janet Rickus (Warner Friedman) of Gt; her stepchildren, Susan Lavoie of Holyoke, Robert Lavoie of Ohio and Margaret Lavoie of Boston; her siblings, Stella Hebda, Vera Cunningham and Chet Fila; her stepgrandchildren, Heather Burkey and Kim Achs; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Raymond, Alex Burkey, Haley and Kiersten Achs; and also, Merlin and Lori.
