He was predeceased by: his parents, John Massey and Helen Irene Massey (Shea); his wife Lisa A. Wilson; and his brother Michael Massey. He is survived by: his children, Stephanie Lombard (Todd) of Bailey, NC, Courtney Haile of West Springfield, Cassandra Haile of Agawam, Brittany Haile of Vernon, CT, Holly Leary (Daniel) of East Longmeadow and Sean Massey of West Springfield; his grandchildren, Leah Reopel, Lilly Stronzek, Catherine Leary, Benjamin Leary and Mason Collazo; his sisters, Ginger Massey of Barnwell, SC and Patricia Versailles of Barnwell, SC; and his siblings-in-law, Nick, Kimberly, Jennifer, Kristie Haile and Cheryl Massey.
To help defray funeral costs the family asks donations be made to his daughter Holly Leary, 1085 Dickinson Street, Springfield, MA 01108.
