With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rita McKenna Fairbanks (West Springfield, Massachusetts), born in Easthampton, Massachusetts, who passed away on April 19, 2020 at the age of 98. She was predeceased by: her parents, Horace A. Ethier and Alma Ethier (Bonneville); and her siblings, Horace "Hank" Ethier, Cecile Allen Bolles and Sylvia Davis.
She is survived by: her daughters, Jeanne McKenna Broderick of Hampden, MA and Jill McKenna Lineberry; her son-in-law Howard of Middletown, CT.; her grandchildren, Marc Robitaille (Robbin) of East Longmeadow, MA, Glen Robitaille of Springfield, MA, John Robitaille (Tracy) of Enfield, CT, Carolyn Broderick Armstrong of Hampden, MA and John Broderick of Palmer, MA.; and her great grandchildren, Kodi Robitaille (Brianne Cannady), Nicole Robitaille Castonguay (Andrew), Ryan Robitaille, Danielle Robitaille, Troy Robitaille, Eddie Robitaille, Cameron Rodriguez, Reid Rodriguez, Colin Broderick, Luke Armstrong and Ani Connors. She is also survived by children: daughter.
Hampden- It is with deep sadness that the family of Rita McKenna Fairbanks announce her passing from the Coronavirus on Divine Mercy Sunday, April 19, 2020 at the age of 98.
She will be interred at Billings Hill Cemetery, East Longmeadow, MA at that time .Memorial contributions may be made in Rita's name to St. Michael's Church, 128 Maple Street, East Longmeadow MA 01028 or to Shriners Hospitals for Children, 2900 Rocky Point Drive, Tampa FL 33607.
