It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Russell P LaFrance (West Springfield, Massachusetts), who passed away on July 25, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leopold LaFrance and Yvonne LaFrance (Gagnon); and his brother Eugene Blaise. He is survived by: his wife Katherine "Kathy" LaFrance (Martelli); his sons, Joseph (Lynn) of West Springfield and Keith (Lori) of West Springfield; his grandchildren, Sara, Kevin and Kaitlyn; his daughter-in-law Karen; and his sibling's children, Lynn Mele and Steven Blaise.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Toomey-O'Brien Funeral Home (1043 Westfield St, West Springfield, MA 01089). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or D'Amour Center for Cancer Care.
