He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas F. Armstrong and Helen Armstrong (Bock); and his brother Samuel D. Armstrong. He is survived by: his sister Carol Downing; his niece Maureen Downing of Nevada; his stepchildren, Joseph, Lynn, Lisa and David Betournay; and also Eamon.
