The memory of Mary Louise Shaughnessy of West Yarmouth, Massachusetts, born in Newton, Massachusetts, who passed away on December 6, 2025 at the age of 88, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael Hansberry and Julia Hansberry (Tarpey); her significant other Donald R. Shaughnessy; and her son Kevin M. Shaughnessy. She is survived by: her daughters, Donna Scully of Framingham, MA, Maryanne (Jim Morse) of West Yarmouth, MA and Janet (Peter Bibo) of Natick, MA; her daughter-in-law Penny Shaunessy of West Yarmouth, MA.; and her grandsons, Matthew Scully (late Paul), John Hansberry (late Rita), Ted Hansberry (Terry) and Michael Hansberry (Susan). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and brothers- and sisters-in-law.
A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Pius X Parish (5 Barbara St, South Yarmouth, MA 02664). A burial will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Chandler Gray Cemetery (161 Old Mill Way, West Yarmouth, MA 02673).
