He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Grace Gearing, Andrew and Carol Spanos. He is survived by: his parents, James L. Gearing and Allison J. Spanos-Gearing; his brother Andrew; and his grandfather Ronald L. Gearing. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends.
