He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Thomas and Marie Thomas; his wife Lillian Thomas (LaPlante); his daughter Marie Jemiolo (Craig); and his brother Robert Thomas (Evelyn).
He is survived by: his sons, Edward Thomas Jr. (Jami) of Westfield, MA, Mitchell Thomas and Trevor Thomas (Katelyn) of Westfield, MA; his grandchildren, Samantha Kastrati (Granit) of East Longmeadow, MA, Valeena Caputo of Quincy, MA, Jennifer Caputo of Quincy, MA, Alex Caputo of Quincy, MA, Nichole Tweedly (Vince) and Lily Thomas of Westfield, MA; and his nieces, Kathy Preuss of Westfield, MA and Margaret Monterosso. He is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, family members and close friends.
The military honors will be held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Massachusetts Veterans' Memorial Cemetery (1390 Main St, Agawam, MA 01001). A committal service will be held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
