It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Arthur J. Carey (Weymouth, Massachusetts), born in Boston, Massachusetts, who passed away on March 4, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Carey and Mary Carey; and his wife Elizabeth L. Carey (Hill). He is survived by: his children, Sharon Carey (Al Lee) of Brockton, Michael A. Carey (Deborah) of Braintree, MaryEllen McPherson (Lonnie) of Augusta, ME, Elizabeth Carey (Brian Pellegrini) of Milton, Margaret Carey (Steve Whitfield) of Weymouth and Julie Muir (Shawn) of Rockland; his grandchildren, Michael Bertoni, Jonele Bertoni, Nicholas Bertoni, Courtney Gunn and Caitlin Gunn; his siblings, Joe Carey (Isabel) of Hyannis, Mary Sexton of Dorchester, Paul Carey (Beverly) of Weymouth and Ellen Savage (Michael) of Quincy; and his close friend Roberta McKearney of Weymouth. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
