She was predeceased by: her parents, Elzie Spencer and Mary Spencer; her siblings, Annie Grimsley of Martha Bennett and Sam Spencer; and her son Jerome Spencer.
She is survived by: her children, Willie Spencer (Shirley) of Brockton, MA, Cheryl Spencer-Cole (Derrell) of Brockton, MA, Jennifer Streeter (Guy) of Atlanta, GA and Vonetta Spencer-Wilkinson (Collin) of Boston, MA; and her siblings, Janie Capehart of St. Petersburg, Gloria Scott of Thomasville, GA, Hazel Bartee of Boston, MA and Warren Ed. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews.
