He was predeceased by: his wife Diane R (Rolfe) of Weymouth. He is survived by: his children, Elizabeth Cataldo (Betsey) of Weymouth, Edward M., Nancy Bates of Weymouth, Barbara, Joseph Mortland of Weymouth, James, Valerie Bates of Weymouth, William and Michelle Bates of Norton, MA.; and his stepchildren, Mara, Bob Carey of Rockland, Linda O'Neil (David Caruso) of Scituate and Daniel Hanlon of Hilton Head, SC.. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
