He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Carol A. Buckley (Stevens); his children, Susan Souther (Ted) of Hingham, James Buckley of Weymouth, Linda Bohan (Peter) of Hull, Elisabeth Buckley of Halifax and Christine Long (Eric) of Marshfiled; and his siblings, Noreen Tilley of Weymouth, Patricia Hackett of Weymouth, Ralph Buckley, Marie Dwyer, Joan Salvaggio and Ruth Hackett. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Weymouth Food Pantry, 25.
