He was predeceased by: his son Brian Dahl; his grandson Christopher M. Dahl; his parents, Freeman Dahl and Gladys Dahl (Weldon); and his brother Freeman Dahl.
He is survived by: his son Kevin Dahl of Weymouth; his grandchildren, Jacki and Max Caetano of Weymouth; his great grandchildren, Kloee and Bubba Caetano; and his sisters, Deanna McGahan of Florida, Susan Robertson of Florida and Linda McGillis. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
