He was predeceased by: his parent James B.; and his sibling Margaret A. Norton. He is survived by: his parent Margaret J. O'Neil (Holland); and his siblings, Marie T. O'Neil of Weymouth and Rita E. McGonnigal.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Jesuit Community, Campion Center, 319 Concord Rd., Weston, MA 02493 to support its ministry of care for elderly and infirm Jesuits.
