She was predeceased by: her parent Thelma (Boles); and her siblings, Priscilla Hall and Alan Anderson. She is survived by: her spouse Daryl L. Grant; her child Todd Grant of Ann Arbor; and her grandchildren, Alexander Grant of Florida, Daniel Grant of California, David Grant and Andrew Grant of Michigan. She is also survived by three sisters-in-law; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In 2007, Jean was formally diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease.
