He was predeceased by: his parents, Lunether Love (Bridges) and James Love; his siblings, Annie "Bell" Love, Arlene Harriett Love (Melvin Benett) and Emmer Love (Christopher Lee); and also, Arthur Love, Alfred Love, Darrell Love, Katherine Love and Clara Green.
He is survived by: his wife Joan E. Kerins-Love; his son James Vance; and his siblings-in-law, Christine Hansen (William Elliott), Margaret Kerins Fontaine (Raymond), Marie Kerins-Gould (Stephen), Timothy Kerins, Jr. (Mary) and George Kerins (late Melissa). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
