He is survived by: his wife Maria Leitao of Weymouth; his children, Jacqueline Donovan (Joseph) of Cohasset, Nelson Leitao of Boston, Brian Leitao of Washington, DC, Jillian Hoffman (Ben) of Skillman, NJ and Eric Leitao (Jaclyn) of Kingston; and his grandchildren, Ryan, Madeleine, Alexis, Timothy, Calvin, Gemma, Clara and Ollie. He is also survived by his six siblings, their spouses and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home - South (809 Main St, Weymouth, MA 02190). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Sacred Heart Church (72 Washington St, Weymouth, MA 02188). A burial will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Blue Hill Cemetery (700 West St, Braintree, MA 02184).
