He was predeceased by: his spouse Gisela Bilewski (Filpe). He is survived by: his child Sylvia Sawler of Halifax; his siblings, Fred Bilewski and Opa; and also Audrey Bilewski (Chagnon). He is also survived by 4 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Karl may be made to Alzheimers Assn., NE Chapter, 309 Waverley Oaks Rd., Waltham, MA 02452.
