He is survived by: his wife Ann Geraldine "Gerry" Joseph; his children, Elizabeth Kaplan (Lawrence) of Chestnut Hill, Michael (Jennifer) of Blanco, TX, Peter (Lucia) of Bridgewater and Martin Jr. (Patricia) of Weymouth; his grandchildren, Rachel, Joanna Kaplan, Adriane McCarthy, Christopher Joseph, Daniel, Victoria, John, Matthew Joseph, Patrick of Martin, III, William and David Joseph; his great grandchild Ava Andrade; and his siblings, Claire Santacroce of Vernon, CT and Maryann Peasley of Otis, ME. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
