He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara Mahoney (O'Brien); his parents, John Mahoney and Elizabeth Mahoney; his sister Marie McManus; and his grandson Michael.
He is survived by: his children, John (Mary) of Braintree, Michael of Quincy, Kathleen Carvalho (Claudio) of Weymouth, William (Kristine) of Norton, James (Michelle) of Abington and Richard of Norton; his siblings, Joseph Mahoney of Chelsea and Catherine Bielewa of West Roxbury; and his grandchildren, Samantha, John, Shannon, Trevor, Kyle, Amanda, Meghan, Brendan, Christopher, James, Richard, Isabella, Dean, Jacob, Sean, Harper, Brayden and Olivia.
