It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Paul F. O'Brien Jr. of Weymouth, Massachusetts, who passed away on October 29, 2025, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul O'Brien and Joan O'Brien; and his brother John O'Brien. He is survived by: his wife Angela O'Brien (Cyr); his children, Kaleigh and Sean; his granddaughter Hazel Lee; his siblings, Carol Kuhn (Chris) of Dedham, Stephen O'Brien (Arthur) of Palm Springs and Susan Lawrie (Edward) of Walpole; his brother-in-law Kenneth Cyr (Margaret) of Canton, GA.; his siblings' children, Chris, Teresa, Kristen, Ryan and Jack; and his caregiver Dana Farber Oncology. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Memorial contributions can be made in Paul's name to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute for the continued research and treatment of multiple myeloma, South Shore Hospital, and the South Shore VNA.
