Paul F. O'Brien Jr. Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Paul F. O'Brien Jr. of Weymouth, Massachusetts, who passed away on October 29, 2025, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul O'Brien and Joan O'Brien; and his brother John O'Brien. He is survived by: his wife Angela O'Brien (Cyr); his children, Kaleigh and Sean; his granddaughter Hazel Lee; his siblings, Carol Kuhn (Chris) of Dedham, Stephen O'Brien (Arthur) of Palm Springs and Susan Lawrie (Edward) of Walpole; his brother-in-law Kenneth Cyr (Margaret) of Canton, GA.; his siblings' children, Chris, Teresa, Kristen, Ryan and Jack; and his caregiver Dana Farber Oncology. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 12th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home (134 Pleasant St, Weymouth, MA 02190). A procession will be held on Thursday, November 13th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the Shepherd Funeral Homes (134 Pleasant St, Weymouth, MA 02190). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 13th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Immaculate Conception Church (720 Broad St, Weymouth, MA 02189).
Memorial contributions can be made in Paul's name to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute for the continued research and treatment of multiple myeloma, South Shore Hospital, and the South Shore VNA.
