He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry J. Giles and Jessie Mary Giles (MacIsaac); and his wife Judith A. Giles (Freeth). He is survived by: his children, Colleen A. LaRosa (Anthony) of Pembroke, Richard A. Giles, Jr. (Linda) of Sterling, Mich and Michael E. Giles of Weymouth; and his grandchildren, Christopher LaRosa (Jennifer) and Lauren Candler (Adam). He is also survived by five siblings and is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
