He was predeceased by: his brother David Hardy. He is survived by: his close friend Amy Garner of Weymouth; his children, Robert F. Hardy, III of Lawrence, Linda King (James) of Whitman, Brittany Garner, Kathryn Garner of Weymouth and Grace Garner of Weymouth; and his siblings, James M. Hardy of Weymouth and Catherine Hardy of Quincy. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Robert may be made to WEYMOUTH ELKS.
