He was predeceased by: his son Savatore M. Litterio; his parents, Helen Litterio and Anthony Litterio; and his sister Vivian Litterio. He is survived by: his wife Anne; his children, Donna Litterio, Kimberley (Matthew Miller), Michael Litterio and Nicholas Litterio (Christina); his siblings, James White, Anthony Litterio, Rose DelTufo, Thomas Litterio, Anne O'Hara, Robert Litterio, Joan Litterio, Mary Masker, Theresa Figaratto, Joseph Litterio, Paul Litterio and Madeline Collins; his grandchildren, Joshua, Brittany, Michelle, Jacob, Matthew, Elizabeth, Ben and Myles; and his great grandchildren, Brian, Paige and Kaylee. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
