She was predeceased by: her husband Phillip Barber; and her sister Louise McDannell. She is survived by: her children, John Barber (Sheila) of Weymouth, Jessica Mulready (Stephen) of Falmouth and Dan Barber (Ann-Marie Bagley) of Wareham; her grandchildren, Samantha, Nicole, Sean and John; her great grandchildren, Sarah and Chelsea; and her siblings, Bill Sites, Jean Hammond, Anna Haire and Wheatie May-Hemler.
