He was predeceased by: his wife Joan M. Runge (Sweatt); his parents, Louis Runge and Mildred Runge (Campbell); and his brother Louis "Buddy" Runge. He is survived by: his daughters, Cynthia Runge (Gary Cunha) of Reading and Thea Louise Cunha; his sister Charlotte Monty; his sibling's children, Deborah Monty, Ellen Lurie of Florida, Leslie Runge of Nevada, Monique Cote of North Carolina, David, Thomas and Robert Potter of Massachusetts; and his granddaughter Thea.
