It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Rooney (Wilmington, Massachusetts), who passed away on October 17, 2018, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his spouse Dorothy E. (Kelley); his parent Edward Rooney; and his sibling James Rooney. He is survived by: his children, Charles E. "Mickey" Rooney III (Beth) of Wilmington, Timothy Rooney (Ranee) of Wilmington, Sharon Rooney of Braintree and Patrick Rooney of Wilmington; his grandchildren, Liam, Colin, Caroline, Charlie Rooney, Ashley, Conor, Jack Rooney, Timothy, Michael, Christie and Sarah Dorsey Wanagel; his parent Mary Rooney (App); and his siblings, Dennis Rooney (Yvette) of Wilmington, Mary Ann Lee (Donald) of Wilmington, Joanne Sanborn (Barry) of New Hampshire, William Rooney and Suzanne McNeil. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
