He was predeceased by: his parents, Agostinho Tavares and Delerina. He is survived by: his wife Natalia Tavares (Correia); his children, Brian Tavares, Kelly Finn of Tewksbury, Brianna Tavares of Wilmington and Camden Tavares; and his siblings, Olga Laranja, Jose Grilo, Maria Braz, Antonio Tavares, Agostinho Grilo, Victor Tavares, Natalia Cabral, Carlos Grilo and Sonia Correia. He is also survived by many brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.
