He was predeceased by: his parents, William Hanlon and Mary Sarah Hanlon (Schwartz); and his brother William. He is survived by: his spouse Jean M. Hanlon (Brennan); his children, Leslie Coye (Kenneth) of Malden, Dana Doyle (James) of Wilmington, Edward "Ned" Hanlon of Winthrop, Kristen Reidy (Michael), Kathleen Christensen (Ryan), Erin Doyle and Ryan Hanlon (Elizabeth); his great grandchildren, Sean Reidy, Jack, Eleanor and Maeve Hanlon; and his siblings, Paul Hanlon, Arthur Hanlon, Dorothy Turner, Rita, Albert, Robert and Hubert Hanlon. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
