He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Leslie A. Durkee and Alice E. Durkee (Simpson); his wife Helen Durkee (Rothwell) of Wilmington, MA; his daughters, Ruth Kennedy (Daniel) of North Reading, MA, Judith Melisi (Stephen) of Halifax, MA and Mary Ethier (Robert) of Wilmington, MA.; and his grandchildren, Zoe, Ewan, Aidan Kennedy and Olivia Melisi.
