With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James M. Gallagher of Wilmington, Massachusetts, born in Cambridge, Massachusetts, who passed away on August 19, 2021 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George E. Gallagher and Emma M. Gallagher (Rowan); and his sibling Marion Teahan. He is survived by: his wife Sylvia R. Gallagher (McPherson) of Wilmington; his children, Patricia Ann Sullivan (late Joseph) of Wilmington, James Joseph Gallagher (Mary) of Wilmington, Paul Patrick Gallagher (Maritza) of Michigan and Richard McLeod; his grandchildren, Lynn Gallagher, Danielle, Jason McMasters, Jamie Gallagher, Taylor Haynes, Briana Gallagher, Ashleigh Sullivan, Kristen Sullivan and Adam Sullivan; his great grandchildren, Bradley and Evan; and his siblings, Kathleen McLeod, Barbara Keohane, Dottie Nugent, George Gallagher, Billy Gallagher, Johnny Gallagher, Eddie Gallagher and Bobby Gallagher. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
