With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jean C. Fothergill of Wilmington, Massachusetts, born in Charlestown, Massachusetts, who passed away on February 2, 2023 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband John J. Fothergill, Sr.; her parents, John Mahoney and Gertrude Mahoney (McCabe); and her brother Arthur Mahoney. She is survived by: her children, John Fothergill, Jr. of Woburn, Jean Callahan (Edward) of Medford, Thomas Fothergill (Tracey Galla) of Malden, Kathleen Fothergill of Wilmington, Daniel Fothergill of Wilmington and Joseph Fothergill (Nancy) of Ocala, FL; her grandchildren, Kimberley Callahan, Christine Arsenault (David), John Fothergill, III, Matthew Fothergill (Madison Sidwell), Christopher Fothergill, Daniel Fothergill, Kevin Fothergill, Michael Fothergill and Emily Fothergill; her siblings, Evelyn Nighelli of Norton, Dorothy Maguire and Lawrence Mahoney; and also, Susanne, Susan and Lisa. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jean's memory to the Alzheimer's Association.
